About Chris Falkenstein
I live in Cherry Hill, New Jersey which is 10 minutes from downtown Philadelphia, PA. I was born and raised here in the garden state.
Most of my time is spent working on web projects, but to keep me from getting burned out I venture outdoors with my wife, Laurel. We try to find new places to hike or camp. I've been known to cook up some quality food dishes from time to time. I certainly enjoy eating and because of that I've learned to enjoy visits to the gym. I find myself watching bad sci-fi movies or This Old House when the TV is on.
I have an interest in building things from scratch. It's gratifying to start with absolutely nothing and have it materialize after some thought and hard work. Web design is great for this purpose, you can construct something out of a concept and have it meet or exceed the intended purpose. In the end it's something tangible.
First and foremost I'm a web designer, but I dabble in the arts of web development from time to time. It is important to know what can be done on the back-end in order create the best front-end.
